STILL STRUGGLING WITH DIGITAL INKS...

These are small excerpts from the new book I'm doing. I'm still pouring way too much labour into the line weights--and it shows. I'll give it a few more pages, but I'm really concerned about the line stiffness.

I'm also worried about hitting my deadline!

these are great! in my humble opinion, the only thing i'm missing from your inks is the drybrush at the end of some of your feathering. that real subtle texture that happens when the ink is running dry. these are still fantastic. can't wait to read it.

Thanks, Marco--I totally agree about the feathered tips; I've got to figure something out.

Lookin' forward to this book!

Sorry to hear about your ongoing inking woes, though. Hope it's not leaching the joy overmuch.

By the way, in Seattle this weekend I got Casey to sign my Charlatan Ball trade. I hope sometime our paths'll cross so you can add your sig!
